A little challenge for you all:
Make someone's day this week. Do something they don't expect that really puts a big smile on their faces. Then post it here and encourage the rest of us with your results.

This blog is for both Christians who are seeking to improve their walk with God and for non-Christians who are seeking to know how Christians should walk. There will be no judgment of character on this blog, nor any condemnation. There will be Biblical views on sin, forgiveness, love, worship, etc. My hope is that non-believers reading this will realize that true Christianity is about love and forgiveness, not judgment, and that believers will find encouragement and, by God’s grace, wisdom.
So, my sister and I had just decided to head off to Starbucks for coffee, just as soon as we were done with lunch, and all I could think was, "God, more money I don't know how You'll provide for me, help me to trust that You'll take care of me," when a friend of mine walked over and handed me a Starbucks gift card he had intended to give me the day before. I didn't want to ask my sister to treat me, and didn't want her to feel bad if I didn't get anything, and God said, "See? I know what you're going to want, before you want it. How much more do you think I know the things you *need*?"
ReplyDeleteI did a random act of kindness the other week when I was in line at Sonics at the drive through and payed for the person behind me. Then, before that person would notice when he/she got to the window, I sped away and almost ran over an employee that quickly cut around the corner. lol Rule number 1: Make sure you don't run people over during your process of trying to stay unoticed
